Evolutionary relationships between actinorhodopsins (actRs) and other major microbial rhodopsin sequence clades.
ActRs are proteorhodopsin-like sequences affiliated with Actinobacteria, discovered in metagenomic data from aquatic non-marine environments sampled during the Venter Institute's Global Ocean Sampling Expedition .
